Is it possible to say "more easy"?
I've seen a correction from an english native who didn't corrige "more easy" written in an essay from a Spanish student, here in italki... Also I've listened to a whatsapp friend from Manchester say to me the same, "more easy"... so, I'm a bit confused because I remember an English teacher here in Chile who told me that "more easy" is wrong, the right way is to say "easier"...
Help please!!

Based on Greg's answer, I think it's probably a regional difference. In the US, we always say "easier," in both conversation and writing.

'more easy' is common in conversation where I am. Probably equally as common as 'easier'.
In writing and the written media such as newspapers and journals you usually see 'easier', but in novels where there is some dialogue, you will still come across 'more easy'.

I agree with your English teacher. "Easier" is correct and much more natural.

The English teacher is right. "More easy" is incorrect English. "Easier" is correct English.
