Question : How was your day at work today ?

How to make it sound natural, please share your views.

If there wasn't much to do and it wasn't too busy, then I might say 'pretty quiet' or 'not much happening'. If it was just a normal day and nothing particularly exciting happened then I might say 'fine, nothing special'. There are a lot of ways to answer this question, so hopefully another native speaker will add some more suggestions.
