imasu & arimasu: how to say "I have something"
I forgot what's wrong, and how to say it right:
"Here is a pen"
"Here is the cat"
"The cat lives here"
and:
"I have a pen"
"I have a cat"
Do I make mistake by saying "watashi wa pen o arimasu" instead of "watashi wa pen o motte imasu*?
Thank you in advance!

Here is a pen ペンです。pen desu
Here is the cat その猫です。 sono neko desu
The cat lives here その猫はここに住んでいます。sono neko wa koko ni sunde imasu.
※その猫が(ga) is also okay.
I have a pen 私はペンを持っています。 Watashi wa pen wo motte imasu
I have a cat 私は猫を飼っています。Watashi wa neko wo katte imasu
"watashi wa pen o arimasu" is wrong.
""watashi wa pen o motte imasu" is correct.
