It’s a gaming term.
In the Hollow Knight game, one has to go through descending levels. Each successful step is called breaking the floor, as in “ Hey, do you know how to break this floor?”

I have never heard that expression, but after searching the Internet, it appears to be related to dancing. Breakdancing is style of dancing, and ‘the floor’ in your sentence probably refers to the ‘dance floor’. Therefore, your sentence probably means that some danced very well on the dance floor.
