In Spanish, how do you say "I went there on a tour" or "I did a tour"?
It doesn't have to be a direct translation - I'm looking for wording that sounds most natural in spanish. I'm referring to an organised tour around a country (not a day excursion). Thanks!

Hice un recorrido.
Hice un tour.
I went there on a tour = Fui allí de gira

I did a tour = hice una ruta organizada/ ruta turística.
I went there on a tour = Fui allí de gira ( gira musical de un cantante o hacer una ruta viajera visitando varias ciudades en un país)
