Keeping in mind the significance of this project, I am extremely hopeful that it will get accord from the relevant bodies. I would be obliged if you can keep me posted about the final result. Looking forward to be part of this project and to religiously assist you in its completion."

Saying "thank you" instead of "thanks" will sound more formal and polite. I would also change "keep me posted for the results?" to "keep me posted on the results?" So it would now read, "Thank you for your detailed information. Would it be possible for you to keep me posted on the results?" I hope this is helpful.
