Address Dear : I have a question about "Address " this word,sometimes I saw news about government talking about some policy,and they said some sentence use ""address bla bla bla",so I think address can mean some serious thing?

EXAMPLES: Many families in our community don't have enough food to eat. We need to address this issue. I know your boss has a bad temper. I addressed this issue with him, so things should improve. I will address the problem at our next meeting. President Trump addressed the crowd. It can also be used when referring to a title, or what someone wants to be called. EXAMPLE: Even though we are friends, at work you should address me as Dr. Smith, not Smitty.
