Can you use "Claro" and "bueno" to say "okay" in response to something that's been understood?

Bueno is not used in this case. You can use "Claro", but also you can use "Entiendo" or just "Ok", anybody can understand "Ok" because is a common word used in our countries without problem.

Claro can be used for say okay, but bueno is not appropiate.

If you are in Spanish you can say “vale” but if you at in Latín América you can use “claro” in my case I use “dale»( Argentina)

I think that’s better claro and you can use ok also , we use ok a lot. I think good is like basically so you can sound better when you use claro
