What doesn " mileage" mean in the context of drawing?
I just watched a video about how to draw animation characters.
This youtuber kept saying that "Mileage is a lie" and " style is mileage plus reference".
I dont quite understand what "Mileage" means in this context.
could you explain it to me if you understand it ?
Thanks a lot !

When you think of mileage in terms of driving, it means you are driving a lot or have driven a lot. For example, "The car has a lot of mileage." In art, "mileage" refers to the amount of drawing you do in relation to detail. It's kind of like how much detail you have put into the drawing.
