釣る and 漁る difference
釣る and 漁る both mean fishing. But what is the differene between those 2 or is it interchangable?

As for the latter, however, it is more often used in a negative way like "ゴミをあさる", which means "go through garbage for food", or "女をあさる", which means "indiscriminately look for a woman to flirt with". So, I recommend you should refrain from using it.

You read "釣る" as "つる", which means "fish, usually by using a fishing rod". On the other hand, you read "漁る" as "あさる", which generally means "catch fish".
