Could " 花玉 " be a given name?
I've read that Hua means flower and Yu means jade with these characters. Would it be a possible feminine name? Or maybe with changing the syllables?
it could be, but people will think it's a bit old fashion, so maybe think about a new one instead..?

hmmm my advice is don't use 花 as your name.
as Creek and percy mentioned, 玉花 and 翠花 are mostly used for countryside girls at least 20 years ago. No Chinese would name themself as "翠花“ believe me or not
