Which Korean verbs are the most common ones for 'to choose / to pick / to elect'?

선택하다 is probably the most common word, but there are many related words used for different contexts.
* to choose = 선택하다 / 택하다 / 고르다.
* to pick = 고르다 / 찍다 (slangy) / 선택하다.
* to elect = 선출하다 (by vote or consensus), 뽑다 (colloquial word for 선출하다), 선택하다, 택하다.
고르다 often means picking/selecting one or multiple out of many, while the others are more commonly for choosing one from a few.

"고르다" is used the most for "to choose and to pick".
"뽑다" is for "hand-picked".
"선출하다" is for "to elect" *당선되다 to be elected
