Is there any problems or Are there?
Hi,
what do you think?
I know that "problems" is plural so it takes "are"
But if we add "any" (any problems)
does it make it singular or still plural?

Still plural.
Here are some plural examples:
- Are there any problems?
- Are there any tickets available?
- Are there any cars in the street?
- Are there any birds in the sky?
Here are some singular examples:
- Is there any milk?
- Is there any reason to go?
- Is there any word that you have trouble with?
- Is there any mail today?
Good luck! I hope that this answer helps you.

Still plural. Are there any problems?

The answers are good, but you are also mixing up "is there a problem" singular, with "any problems" plural. is there a or any? must be a x problem after is there, are there any or a? must be any after are there x problems.

Good day, Noha.
Thank you for your question.
Indeed 'any' affects the notion of singularity, turning the singular into plural. Nevertheless, vice versa does not universally apply; thus, plurality is unaffected by the mentioned notion.
