Community TutorItaliano: Combatting Game Bosses
Have I translated my American English to Italian correctly and does it sound natural? Is the word order correct too?
My son combats a different game boss in Castlevania every week.
= Ogni settimana mio figlio combatte contro un boss di gioco diverso in Castlevania.

Hi Shawn, your translation sounds wrong as it seems "different" is referred to "game" instead than to the boss, even if it's still possible to guess the real meaning.
Therefore I'd change the order:
-- Ogni settimana mio figlio combatte contro un boss diverso [ , ] al gioco di Castlevania.
Nevertheless I personally would like more details on the context since I have doubts for the correct meaning and translation.
For example, is that something dealing with "monsters" and "levels" (or "screens") within an arcade game?, since my generation I think would call it the Monster anyway..

I suppose you could also say "...contro un boss diverso nel gioco Castlevania." But I don't want to change the meaning of that either...
