I'm taking a photo. (singular)
or
I'm taking photos. (plural)

If you are taking only one photo, then you say "I am taking a photo" instead of " I am taking photo. And if you are taking more than one photo,then you say "l am taking photos".

A slightly unusual thing to say. It answers a question that is rarely asked, except perhaps, What are you doing now?
