"Delikanlı" song by Zafer Cınbıl
I am trying to better understand this sad song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOIC3hD4pl0
The first verse looks simple but the meaning is not clear.
Kafam bozuk
Gönlum soluk
Dilim donuk
Bu dümende.
Saçım ağarır
Yaşım bağırır
Yaşam daralır
Bu dümende
What does "bu dümende" mean here? It could not be about the rudder/steering wheel or could it?
What does "yaşım bağırır" mean? Is "yaş" hear "age" or "tear" (gözyaşı)? Can either of those scream/shout?
Cevaplarınıza teşekkür ederim.
The song's lyrics are very poetic, seem to use uncommon meanings of many words.

Hi,
As far as I know, Zafer Cınbıl wrote this poem while sailing by ferry. So, he preferred to say ''bu dümende'' rather than ''bu yolda''.
And ''yaş'' is ''age'. His age is screaming or shouting because he is getting older. Yes, you are right, we don't use these words like that in daily speech.
