The concrete meaning of "texture" refers to the surface of a material or the structure , appearance and the feel of a woven fabric.
In its i figurative sense "texture " means " the distinctive character or quality of something" .
"The texture of life" means then the essential qualities that distinguishes life and unravels ( explains) the details and complexities that are intertwined in everyday life.
Examples:
" the texture of life in Africa"
" the texture of modern life"
