It's so confusing to say like "some growth is growing on me."

Chihirosan's direct translation is very good! I just add some more info. we call pimples / zits できもの。 できものができました means, I have pimple. but it's quite confusing when you write in Japanese becaue できもの and できました bouth use <でき> and sounds similar. so 「できものができました」 is confusing (まぎらわしい) I hope you understand what I am trying to say!! I think it's kind of like "dajare" ( "dajare" are jokes that Japanese make up using similar sonding words). For example, ふとんがふっとんだ(布団が吹っ飛んだ、futon ga futtonda = the futon flew away) スキーがすき(スキーが好き,ski ga suki= I like skiing) でんわにでんわ(電話に出んわ, denwani denwa = not answering the phone) I just listed the famous ones. If I use these famous dajare to my friends, they'll think I am "samui" (cold!). "samui" means that the joke is so bad it makes people shiver... But don't worry if you are a foreigner and use dajare, it will sound very funny!!! I am sure you'll be able to make your Japanese friends laugh alot!!! sorry my answer drifted away from the subject... :)
