what is the meaning of: Architect in greek?

Literally, I think, the 'architect' can be translated as 'the chief of the builders'.
The first component of the word, 'Archi-', is common to the root 'Archon' which stands for the word 'chief', where the ending '-tect', obviously is an abbreviation of 'tekton' which means 'builder'. :)
