In China, people usually greet each other like "have a nice weekend(周末愉快,zhou mo yu kuai)", rather then "have a nice weekend my dear friend(我亲爱的朋友,周末愉快,wo qin ai de peng you, zhou mo yu kuai)". What I want to say is that when you greet people in Chinese, you'd better not to add "my dear friend", which is redundant and weird.
So, if you want to say "happy spring festival to my dear friends" to chinese people, "春节快乐, chun jie kuai le" is OK. And in China, Spring festival is a day when lunar new year begins. so you can also say "新年快乐, xin nian kuai le".
