Today my friend taught me these words, and I have to remember what means what...
oyata kohomada--how are you? (greeting)
mama hondai--i'm good. (response)
oya (ta)--you
mama--me
mokakda--fine? (i can't quite remember how to use this word)
eka--like an obscure particle for an object?
da--question mark
mata ___ eka denna--give me ___
so this is my first sinhala lesson. any additional explanation would be great!!

how are you? - oyata kohomada?
i'm good - mama hodin
you - oya / oba
me - mama
fine - hodai
(mokakda? = what?)
give me - mata denna
