Tigre is not an English word, it is French. In English, it is TIGER
If you want to translate "Tigre" into Chinese, it has to be translated by its pronounciation. "蒂格雷" it sounds like tigre.

Possibilities:
"tigre(s)" is Spanish for "tiger" (老虎)
"Tigres" (tigers) is a very good Mexican football team.
Do you some details where you found it?
