Hi, it means that someone whom you trusted, upset you by acting in a way that made you lose your pride. There is a song called You made me a fool

In this sense, fool means "a person who has been tricked or deceived into appearing or acting silly or stupid"
So, someone made you appear to be stupid or silly.
