Can i use 'would like to...' instead of 'would...' in the following sentence? If you would/would like to go up high , then use your own legs ! Do not let yourselves carried aloft; do not seat yourselves on other people's backs and heads .

Yes you can say: If you would/would like to go up higher , then use your own legs ! Do not let yourselves be carried aloft; do not sit on other people's backs and heads .
