A Flower is also known as "bloom" or "blossom" .
"Blossoms" are also the plants that flower for a short period of time .They are usually pink or white. Blossom trees have a tendency to lose their flower petals in wind blown cascades often covering the surrounding ground in petals. This tends to distinguish blossom trees from other flowering trees.
