“Vice versa” is a latin expression which means “reversed order”. Separating the words, we have “vicis” (order, position) and “versus” (reversed, turned). You will find it in all languages based on latin.

Yep, use it all the time. It seems like a difficult word but is also commonly used in casual conversation.
