Sveikas Edvy, my parents came from Lithuania to Australia after World War 2. There is a Lithuanian community[ bendruomene] in every capital city here. I have been to Lithuania 4 times to teach English and the green countryside and pine forests remind me of our state of Tasmania which is the same size. Lithuania with its population of only 3 million is well known for its excellent basketballers, meat and dairy products and beautiful amber jewellery. Trakai the castle set in the middle of a lake is breathtaking. VIlnius is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Europe.

Well, Poland and Lithuania are neighbour. Our countries have common history, I guess you know about it. In Polish we say "Litwa". Nice country which has long history. I know little bit a city which is callled Wilno. And I also guess that you know Adam Mickiewicz. Right?
