If something is fun, it is enjoyable. Eating out with friends, roller coaster rides and trips to the countryside can be fun.
It can be a noun: We had a lot of fun.
It can be an adjective: That was fun!
If something is funny, it makes us laugh.
A joke is funny. A comedy movie is funny. Your friend's new hair style might make you laugh. That would be funny.
Funny is an adjective.
It can also be used to mead "strange" or "odd".
A: Linda didn't go to work yesterday because she was sick.
B: That's funny. I thought I saw her dancing at the club last night.

Fun = Enjoyable, entertaining
Example:
This video game is fun.
That party wasn't any fun.
Funny = makes you laugh, comedic, laughing
That movie was so funny, it made me laugh many times
That joke isn't funny at all.
