Basic, common adjective verbs for colors are:
하얗다 to be white
노랗다 to be yellow
빨갛다 to be red
파랗다 to be blue
까맣다 to be black
When used as an adjective, the 'ㅎ' becomes 'ㄴ'.
사과가 빨갛다. The apple is red.
빨간 사과 A red apple.
하얀색, 노란색, 빨간색, 파란색, 까만색 are nouns(you would see they are the ones that's made up of adjective + 색(color))
갈색 the brown color
녹색 the green color
하늘색 the sky blue color
