I don't know about the English but in my language these words have absolutely diverse significance.

They can be used synonymously in everyday English conversation.
Administration is mostly used in the world of computers and schools. For example, the school administration, or the IT Administrator.
Management is normally a word used in business. For example, the upper management of a company.
Either word will work in 99% of situations, so don't give it too much worry.
