Ethnic means
1.Denoting or deriving from or distinctive of the ways of living built up by a group of people.

2.Not acknowledging the God of Christianity and Judaism and Islam

1.A person who is a member of an ethnic group
Racial means
1.Of or related to genetically distinguished groups of people

2.Of or characteristic of race or races or arising from differences among groups

Your ethnicity can include your race, but it also applies to your culture. Ethnicity is the overall group you identify with through a common heritage, race, language, etc.
Your race is purely your genetic makeup.
