Hi, there. ^___^
I recommend that you make/find the right sound you like first. Mostly they are made of Chinese characters which have meanings in each. (There are also exceptional names consisted of only genuine Korean words such as 바다(sea/ocean), 하늘(sky), 슬기(wisdom), 슬아(short for wisdom and beauty), 고운(pretty), 하나(one), 한글, etc. You can have only 1 syllable for your first name like 정, 진, etc. It's not common, but names with 3 or more syllables are also possible. e.g. 미리내(the Milky Way))
- Here's a name 수지. If you like the sound of it, now you can choose the right Chinese characters.
options for 수: 秀(outstanding), 粹(pure), 琇(gemstone), etc.
options for 지: 志(will, intention), 智(wisdom), 祉(blessing), etc.
If you choose 秀智 for your name 수지, its meaning can be 'outstanding wisdom'. It's up to the combination. Pretty cool, isn't it? Yeah, I know this is a little complicated.. I guess that's why there are professionals on naming here. :)
These are the names of people I know. ㅋㅋ
