How can I type Cantonese on a windows system, I can only seem to type simplified Chinese. How can I type Cantonese on my windows system? The language bar only seems to support typing simplified hanzi through mandarin pinyin,

It is a bit hard for foreigners to directly type Traditional Chinese before they learn how to write Chinese characters... Hong Kong people use a kind of typing system called 倉頡, and it is all about shapes and strokes of Chinese characters instead of pinyin (about sound). If you really want to type Traditional Chinese, there is another way: find a webpage that can help changing simplified chinese into traditional Chinese with one click. keywords for searching such kind of webpages: 簡繁轉換

Cantonese and Mandarin are of Chinese, but the input method is different. Try to install Cantonese input method, use the Google search for "Cantonese Input Method"
