What's the difference of the use of: (in British and American English)
friend
gal
buddy
pal
dude
i wanna know when to be used between or with girls and boys or both. And if there are other similar words so i'll be thankful if u let me know them :)

there also are "hey nigga" and "wassup mazafaka" )))
when used by an African American, they mean "hi, dude"
when used by not an African American, they are an insult

Gal is for girls only, Buddy is mainly for boys, pal is basically the same as friend, dude is usually for boys, but in surf culture it can be for girls, too. Some extras:
Bro is for guys, like brother. Sometimes girls say "Hey girl" or girlie instead of gal. Some girls also use chica, which is spanish for girl. Some people say cuz, like cousin. That's for both genders. Some people say stud or dog for guys.

all of these are informal ways of addressing a person.
friend
gal-only for girls
buddy-is similar to friend
pal-is similar to friend
dude -usually for boys but sometimes either boys or girls.
this is for American English. It is just another way of saying hey you to somebody
