What is the difference between "for long" and "for a long time"
For example
I didn't sleep for long.
= does it means that he did sleep but not so long time,, saying 2, 3 hours
I didn't sleep for a long time
= does it means that he have not slept .. perhaps for 2 days??
What's your opinion about these sentences?
