/insieme/ e /assieme/ sono sinonimi tranne una eccezione;
/insieme/ e` molto piu` utilizzato sia nel parlato che nello scritto.
The exception refers to the "set theory" in mathematics, where you would always use the term /insieme/ (teoria degli insiemi), or generically in the scientific
language when you are referring to a set of things.
