"Taken for granted "meanings:
1) to use, accept, or treat in a careless or indifferent manner:
2) to accept without question or objection; assume
Examples:
Your loyalty to the cause is taken for granted.
A marriage can be headed for trouble if either spouse begins to take the other for granted.
The girl was so smart, she took it for granted she would pass the exam without studying for it.
He won so much money in the lottery, he took it for granted it would take more years to spend it than he had left to live.
He loved her so much, he took it for granted that she already knew it without having to tell her.
