Can anyone tells what deoes "INTEREST CHARGES-PURCHASE" mean? Thank you!

This is the interest banks charge on credit card purchases. When you buy something using a credit card the banks charges interest if you don't pay back the full amount at the end of the month. The interest is usually on the total amount borrowed even if you pay back some of it.
