I use this Chinese IME http://dl.google.com/pinyin/GooglePinyinInstaller.exe I find it to be a very small file, very fast and easy to use! I think this it the best although I have not used sogou's IME ctrl + shift + t would change it to traditional and simplified. A simple press of the shift will toggle English or Chinese input. After it's installed go to the Language settings and Click add under Chinese and select the google ime.

Sogou is better than google pinyin, at least, they're very the same, & google just imitated sogou a lot.
