Community Tutor⚡️ "Me estoy recuperando de un resfriado"... I'm "recovering" from a cold?
#DoubtsForLater
My students often bring up questions which I can't answer fully at the moment, so I save them and do research later.
And yes, we can say that. Here's how the Cambridge Dictionary defines "recover": "to become completely well again after an illness or injury". Examples:
🗣 It took her a long time to recover from her heart operation.
🗣 He never really recovered from the shock of his wife dying.
