She doesn't let anybody insult or bully her. She fights back.
"Stand" can mean "endure" or "tolerate."
"These shoes hurt, but I only need to wear them for an hour. I can stand the pain."
"I don't mind hot weather, but I can't stand cold weather."
The bad word can mean "an insult" or bullying.
