Well, making friends through online has its own advantages and disadvantages. Talking about pro’s first, if you are able to find good people then being friends with them isn’t any harm at all.Especially during Covid time, people were getting lot of help through social media during their tough times. Italki is another good example where lot of people are getting benefited by making teachers/ tutors as friends to become a native speaker in the language they prefer to learn.On the flip side, if they get caught in the wrong net, then it turns down everything. Instead of being friends they will list their whole life. So I don’t prefer to make friends through online. Being safe is always good.

I always think about setting up some goals and achievements every year. This year I have decided to start with 3 development goals. You might have guessed at least one goal easily by now which is very obvious. Yes I want to get well versed in English Language by the end of this year. I want to speak and write like a native speaker/ writer. That’s the reason I joined italki. Despite joining these type of educational platforms, we also need to practice daily to see the results. Practice makes things better. I strongly believe the fact in this saying and sure I will achieve all my goals for this year, if I practice daily with no excuses. My second goal is to get engaged in as much volunteering activities as possible to help the people in need and to build the community together. I am being part of few and continue to look for more opportunities. Last goal is to learn how to be patient , how to reduce my anger, how to avoid stress for simple things. Looking forward to adapt some good practices within me to see some changes. Hope I will succeed in all my set goals for 2022 with strong determination and dedication.

Yes it is good to turn a hobby into a second career. Let me explain with an example. If a person is a software engineer and his hobby is photography, he should continue to work as a software engineer which is a stable position with regular income and do photo shooting during week ends to earn extra money and that way he could enjoy his passion as well . This will eventually help him to hold an own job once he retires . In fact, he does not have to search for jobs at the age of 65, instead the experience he gained through his second career so far would help to earn money and keeps his life engaging! That’s why it’s always good to have a hobby and upgrade it as necessary to meet the day today standards of life. To summarize , it is important to have hobbies and convert it into part time career which in turn would become full time as we age to keep ourselves fully engaged and active:)

My life motto is “ Nothing is impossible in this world” If you try hard you will get what you wish.It’s all based on an individual’s mind set. All you need is self discipline and commitment to make it possible despite your goals are achievable. Whenever I want to achieve a goal, the first thing I do is, draft a plan to jot down the challenges. I break down my tasks into smaller pieces based on the challenges and set a deadline to complete them. Then I update the progress in a planner to monitor whether I am consistent in following the plan. It worked so far and continue to follow this model to achieve many goals in the future.

Shopping through online has its own advantages and disadvantages. I will talk about the advantages first. It is a very easy and convenient method of shopping. You don’t have to step out of your door and in fact save lots of time on commuting. The items will get delivered within a couple of days. I found door delivery as one of the wonderful options ever during the Covid pandemic. It was really helpful. On the other hand, it is very difficult to identify the quality and color resolution of the product that we plan to buy, thus ends up in returning the items many times . Also we need to spend lots of money on shipping cost and sometimes it won’t get delivered at the correct address and back tracking the order seems more challenging especially with the international purchases. We really miss the fun of real time shopping environment.

Yes, definitely there are some real reasons worthy to note to get promotion at work or anywhere. The first 3 things that comes to my mind when I think of promotion are Communication skills, Resilience and most importantly sugar coating skills , no offense, it is really needed in this modern world😊. Let’s talk about the first reason. Communication is vital in any job we do. We need to be expressive and clear in what we are saying. It’s the key factor that helps you to blend with the team. You gain confidence only when you speak up and raise your concerns. No question is a dumb question and even if you ask a wrong question, it doesn’t matter, that’s how we learn things. Therefore we have to be good at both oral and written communication skills. Secondly Resilience which is also equally important like communication. We will not get anything over night. We have to work hard, patient and keep trying until we achieve our goal. We should not give up in any circumstances despite the challenges we face through during those times . So we never get frustrated and practice ourselves to be strong and stern in anything we do in life. That trait will help us get promoted with ease. Last but not the least. Not sure, I might contradict with you on this. Quite a while, I am seeing this skill gradually taking up its place than genuine human mind. Sugar coated pill is not going to be bitter at all:) So it started working for people who does that and quickly climb the heights within a short span of time. One who doesn’t like deceiving and not willing to run along with this superficial racers will miss the opportunities. I am not saying to change our good qualities but be a Roman when you’re in Rome. Anyways, these are my thoughts but it’s always good to have a aerial navigation like light house to direct/ guide us in the form of reasons so as to achieve anything in life but not only for promotion.

No, it’s not always good, because I see technology advancements as a double edged sword. It has its own advantages and disadvantages. One good example is the recent version of google doc which has a feature of correcting grammar errors automatically. I look that as a disadvantage because it is available easily and not pushing us to put any extra effort to learn grammar. Basically the human brains are not rightly used here. That’s my call on that particular advancement. Talking about advantage, nowadays, we can record things quickly through mobile phone on what’s happening around us , which serves as a visual evidence, and can take action immediately to fight for the social well-being. If we continue to do this, people will become aware and stop committing mistakes. Therefore this is a very challenging question and it’s the responsibility of an individual to determine which side of the sword to be used and to what extent. Our forefathers lived without technology and had a successful life with less health and crime issues than us during their lifetime. With that said, I live up to my expectations even with no technology besides leading my life with better quality standards.

The teacher has the most influence on a child’s academic development. I strongly believe the child needs encouragement while learning a subject. For instance, if the child thinks Math is hard for her, the teacher is the right resource to convince and understand the difficulty

In my opinion, Education is the best gift parents must give to their children. Because it is the only wealth that stays for ever with any body in this world. No body can steal or destroy it. It’s worth spending money on education which will nurture your children to become a well rounded person. They will not depend on others for their own survival. Parents always wish to see their children achieving great things in each phase of life. That could be possible only through education. It brings out their abilities, talents, knowledge and social responsibility. If children have these four aspects in built, they will become self efficient which can be achieved ONLY by Education.
