How to remember a language you've forgotten?
I studied Chinese for several years, but I have forgotten most of my vocabulary and grammar. How do you force yourself to review the basics when most of it looks so familiar, but you don't know all of the basics any more?

Amy's italki 2015 New Year’s Language Challenge Public Pledge
Hello!
http://youtu.be/i_RX4OqtWEI
So this is my challenge video. I promise to take at least three hours of italki lessons a week, in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese.
Korean is my goal, since I have been studying for three years, and still can't say almost anything!
Chinese is a secondary goal, because I have lost so much of it since I stopped studying at uni in 2013. I want to get my tones back! And be able to chat again on weibo and qq!
Japanese I just graduated with, and it's my strongest language--but it's still weak, and vulnerable to being forgotten. So I want to commit to getting better and not weaker in Japanese, as well!
Please visit my language blog to see what else I'm doing for this challenge: languagepond.wordpress.com
And follow me on Twitter, where I will probably be the most active! @AiyaLianxi
