I focus on creating a warm and supportive connection with my students. 🎯 My lessons are all about you. I customize my lessons to your interests and your specific goals for your Korean journey. 👩🏻‍🏫As a tutor, I am your cheerleader, language guide, and Korean friend. 📚I use PPTs for reading dialogues, forming sentences, and engaging in online activities. All lesson materials, notes, and PPTs will be uploaded to Google Classroom. 📝 Homework: To help you retain what we learned, I provide homework after every class! 👩🏻‍🏫Teaching Style: I focus on Korean immersion, but I am happy to use English when needed! 🚀 Start: Every class begins with a homework review and a brainstorming session using pictures to introduce new situation. 💬 Curriculum: I follow the Sogang Korean 1A–2B curriculum (3rd ed.), which is specialized for real-life speaking. Dialogues and materials are tailored to your interests so you can relate to them easily. 💪 Practice: We practice reading and forming your own sentences, speaking a lot! 🧠 Homework: Writing Korean sentences using the target grammar and recording your voice.

Bit-Na is an attentive teacher, she knows my hobbies and my level in Korean and she builds a lesson that is perfect for me, talking about topics that I like, using enough words that I know so I'll be able to understand the ones that I don't and slowly add them to my vocabulary. I just completed my 35th lesson with 빛나! I always look forward to our sessions. Even though I am very shy when it comes to speaking foreign languages, 빛나 is very warm and gentle so I always feel at ease. Our sessions are so much fun as well! And of course, I have also learned a lot. 빛나 is very organised and adjusts the lessons to my level, which is great. I even managed to speak Korean during my trip to Seoul this spring, not a single word of English! I can whole-heartedly recommend her lessons!
