I came to Miguel with the ability to speak some Spanish already; however, I feel like I have learned a lot over just the last few weeks. I feel more confident in my ability to hold a conversation, especially in past tense. I used to really struggle with this before taking classes with Miguel. He is knowledgable, patient, and engaging during each class. I look forward to more classes with him.

Miguel is very fun to work with, he is reliable and extremely knowledgeable as a Spanish professor! We have great conversations and I have learned to speak (conversationally) much better in just 3 short months. Miguel is a phenomenal teacher who gives you plenty of space to practice and run wild with texts. He often selects a variety of readings, both from the mid-20th century and modern literature that explore a wide variety of themes and topics. Great classes all around!
