Hello, my name is Stan, I was born in Paris, France, and have always lived in my native country. I've also travelled around the world and visited many different (and beautiful) places from Japan to Hawaii, sometimes as a professional musician, sometimes just for pleasure. I'm very keen on languages. And I think these are not only practical means to communicate with each other, but languages are also powerful ways to understand this world and try to make it a better place.

Me as a Teacher

As a french community tutor, my goal is to help you improve yourself in this beautiful language, which is so often said to be tough, and try to make things much easier for you, anytime you encounter a difficulty. Learning a language (particularly from the start) is much work. It usually takes time, but it has to be done in the most comfortable way for you, according to your own needs and availability. Who said that learning a foreign language cannot be a pleasant experience ?

My lessons & teaching style

Listening to you first is the key step of my teaching method. Whether you don't know a word of french - and actually need to start from the basics -, or maybe practice free conversation already, you are the one who needs to speak, and I'm here to analyse what you need most in order to improve yourself in french as efficiently as possible. Of course, we can also work on pronunciation, reading and grammar when needed, but free conversation (even for a beginner) has to remain the key exercise.
