Andres is a fantastic teacher. His classes are the perfect mix of encouragement, fun, and challenges. He is always ready with a lesson plan and yet if I tell him there's an area I am having trouble with, he can accommodate our next lesson to deal with the problem area. Quite often he lets me select a subject to either talk or write about but once chosen, he pushes me to speak about it in Spanish with exactness and nuance. He is careful to make sure that my Spanish is correct but at the same time encourages me to speak with my own voice. My confidence in the language has increased dramatically over the last year and a half and I plan on continuing to take lessons from Andres for a long time. I have recommendeded him to everyone I know who is interested in Spanish and will continue to do so.

Andres is a great Spanish teacher in my opinion. He explains things very clear and has a very structured way of teaching. Beside of my grammar lessons we do lessons to improve my speaking and listening skils. It's a lot of fun.

Excellent organised teacher with a plan and a system. You’ll be challenged (but just the right amount), you’ll learn and you’ll keep learning. I’m well over 600 hours on italki and there aren’t many teachers this good!

Andres' teaching style is very clear and targeted but in a fun way. He provides interesting material for every lesson and speaks at just the right level for me to understand, yet challenges me to think. He always gives me enough time to process everything for myself and forming sentences on my own, only stepping in at the right moments. I highly recommend his classes to everyone wanting to learn Spanish!
