Vicky is the #1 Tagalog teacher on Italki!

I have attended 4 lessons so far and have found each one to be extremely helpful for the development of my Filipino. Guro Vicky was able to pinpoint my Tagalog language level accurately from the beginning which was important for me since I had self-studied Tagalog previously. Her materials are creative, interactive, and tailored to my needs. She provides many example sentences for each word or topic we cover which helps me use new words with confidence. Lastly, Guro Vicky is a lovely person to talk to, keeps the conversation going, and gets me practicing my Tagalog. Our lessons are always fun :D Salamat Vicky!!!

I had a great first Tagalog lesson with Victoria today! She was prepared with fun and well-thought-out materials that helped gauge my ability and challenge me. I look forward to more lessons in the future! Maraming salamat!

Vicky is honestly my favorite language teacher I’ve ever had 🧡 I can definitely feel how much effort she puts into our classes and she is very present while I share stories. I also appreciate how many examples she gives me for new grammar/vocab so that I fully understand. In the short amount of time I’ve been taking classes with Vicky, I’ve already noticed so much progress in my Tagalog! ✨

There is never a dull class with Victoria as she radiates positive energy that is contagious. You can't help but smile and come away feeling better after finishing her lessons. In addition she absolutely excels at what she does and knows how to work with her students to make meaningful progress towards their goal of learning the Tagalog language.

Another fantastic lesson with Vicky reviewing my written Tagalog sentences. She knows very well how to explain and break down what I try to express and provides many examples of how to make what I am saying more conversational. I feel more confident as I progress in my Tagalog studies especially with Vicky educating me along the way.
