Experienced TEFL Certified English Teacher & IELTS Preparation Specialist Hi! I’m Lee, a native English teacher from London and an IELTS preparation specialist. I have my own IELTS preparation business and teach on Italki too. I have been teaching IELTS preparation for over 15 years and have prepared over 1000 students for the exam. I took the official IELTS exam in August 2026 for the first time achieving an overall band score of 8.5. Speaking 9.0 Reading 9.0 Listening 9.0 Writing 7.5 I will help you to achieve your desired band score. I can help you to master all four areas of the IELTS exam. Speaking - We will practice all three parts of the speaking exam on a regular basis. I will provide you with detailed feedback and give you useful tips and vocabulary. Writing - We will focus on how to structure your two writing tasks. I will specifically guide you through all the possible writing tasks that you could face. I will also give you continued feedback and make corrections on your writing tasks that you will do for homework. Reading - I will give you all the tips and tricks needed to find the answers to the questions in most economical way possible. Reading is all about time management and being able to match words as quickly as possible. Listening - I will give you all the tips and tricks needed to help you to find the correct answers. Parts 1 and 4 require you to fill in the gaps, whereas parts 2 and 3 are always multiple choice questions.

I had such an interesting lesson with Mr. Lee today! I learned a lot of new words. Mr. Lee corrected my mistakes and helped me speak properly. I also learned something new about classic English comedy!

Mr. Lee helped me alot in preparing for the IELTS. He was well informed about the test specifics and could provide some useful tips for the test. He took the time to read some test-simulations i sent him beforehands and could thus help me with very specific critique on my writting style. Definitely recommendable. Thanks!
