My name is Anezwa Toni and I am from South Africa. I live in Port Elizabeth and I am a 26 year old final year student. I am a BSc graduate, majoring in biochemistry and physiology. I can speak English, isiXhosa, isiZulu and a little bit of isiSotho and Afrikaans. My hobbies and interests include singing, dancing, reading books, painting, listening to music and going to the beach.

Me as a Teacher

I am a 26-year-old ESL instructor from South Africa. I am a TEFL certified ESL Instructor. I have taught individuals of different ages (4-78 years) and English levels (A1- C2 proficiency) from over 50 countries. As a highly focused, compassionate and approachable teaching professional, with almost 4 years of highly quality and effective teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to not only become a valuable member of your teaching staff but also offer a platform where students will feel comfortable in expressing themselves and making constructive mistakes.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are student-centred, interactive, and clear. I start with a warm greeting and a simple objective so students know what we will learn. I use visuals, gestures, and step-by-step guidance to make tasks easy to follow. I keep students engaged with real-life examples, online tools, and frequent check-ins. My approach is supportive, encouraging, and focused on building confidence while creating a safe, well-structured learning environment.
